About Core Automation

Meet the Founder

I’m Andrew, founder and lead engineer at Core Automation.

Before starting Core Automation, I spent 17 years as an electrical and automation engineer across commercial and high-end residential projects in Europe and Australia.

I kept encountering the same problem: beautiful homes filled with good technology, but too often designed and installed as separate systems.

Lighting, climate, shading, security, energy and entertainment might each work well on their own, but no one was looking at how they should work together.

I founded Core Automation to do that differently.

We work alongside architects, project managers, electricians and specialist trades to bring the technology across a home together as one connected system.

The result is a home that feels simpler to live in, even when what’s happening behind the scenes is highly technical.
